This is the general page for all links and information about the Tenantry Down allotments and its association. Much of the information is held on the site Wiki, called the Compost Heap. You can navigate this in the normal way (it uses the same software as Wikipedia), and there are many direct links into it from this page. We no longer allow editing of the Wiki by unregistered users (cleaning up the spammers was taking up too much time), but if you email the webeditors we'll be happy to set you up so that you can add your own content. Alternatively, email any articles or news and we'll put it up for you.

Association Papers - procedures and reports and constitutional matters

Crops - an A-Z of fruit and vegetables

Months - what happens and what to do in each month

Recipes - how to eat what you grow

Reporting Crime

If you have or see any thefts or vandalism on the allotments, please contact the police. They have an online form for reporting incidents. It's very important that even minor incidents are reported because the police and the council base their policies on the number of reports they get.

Info & Association Stuff

Please contact the webeditors if any of the website links get broken or out-of-date. We'd also welcome any suggestions or ideas.

The Association Committee. President: Pam Bean (deceased); Chair: Brian Green; Secretary: Vacant; Treasurer: Paul Reading; Non-executive members: Rob, Carol, Sandy, Karen, Elaine & Paul; Web editors: Robert Loughrey & Ady Symon. All can be contacted through the webeditor email address.

We have a Constitution, which might be a bit dated but is all the better for it - it's here.

We meet on the first Monday of the month down a pub near the allotments - next meeting is here.

If you wish to join the association, please see here.

Allotment Rules & Regs

The council main site.

The council allotment website and their allotment news site.

Email the allotment officer (Matt) at the council, or ring 292929.

Current (06) rules (pdf). There are new rules expected in the Spring of 2010. A draft version intended for consultation (that's "consultation" in the council meaning of done-deal) is available here.
